Just fyi for anyone who considered this printer, a very known problem is LAYERSHIFTING! And if you can't fix it, MADE SURE YOU RETURN IT within returnable period. i was in contact with the manufacturer (which are helpful, up to a certain point) trying different stuffs, (non work) and took so much time that i can't return it because it was outside of ebay's 30 day return windows.

I cannot decide on what to buy. This one or bambulab a1 mini?

I’m having issues. Did you have the same issue? When printing the sample print included with the usb. It starts off printing fine but once it gets to around layer 50 the vat tray drops and waits 35 seconds before raising back to to do a 2.5s exposure. And then goes back to 35 seconds wait time before the vat raises back up for another exposure. Etc. A 2 hour sample rook print turns into 15%complete after 3 hours. I’ve reset the printer, tried factor reset, rebooted, tried using the slicer itself, tried a different usb drive. Nothing is working. This printer no matter what I try IT IS SLOW!! I’ve reached out to Elegoo and I’m still waiting for a response.

How Different is the hardware (frame motors rollers) from the Kobra 2 (non pro) ? I'm planning to upgrade my Kobra 2 to clipper with an accelerometer , thinking how fast can it go :)

I just bought the k1c device. I am worried about the overheating of the x and y axis stepper motors. They get very hot after a few hours of work. And I'm very worried that they won't burn from too much heat. Is this my worry? Or should I worry about it?

Time to invest in a dust shoe and a shop vac to get rid of all those crumbs before they fly everywhere. 😀 They make one that fits this 3030 perfectly.

the K1 is priced bellow bambulab A1 here, so a no brainer if you need an enclosed 3D printer

Im curious How does the Linear rail mount the head...is it magnetic or is it from the bottom??

How are you measuring speed tho? Because you can slice up to 500mms for the A1. You will get crap quality no matter which printer you have but still. Speed comparisons have no backing.

I keep wanting to get a laser, but my workshop walls are at max capacity for exhaust ports, I would get a CO2 laser, but again I have no where to exhaust to. I keep trying to come up with a way to do it, but all options would violate code of distance from fresh air intake locations. Love the reviews though, by far the best and most through review channel for hobby machines on YT.

Hello, it was a very useful video. But I'm still having a hard time deciding. Creality K1C and Adventurer 5M PRO. I'm torn between these two models. I need to use ABS and carbon fiber added filaments more often. In this case, which product would you recommend? Size and print quality are also important elements.

could this be used to carve away the copper on a PCB (printed circuit board)? Could it carve away traces 0.25mm apart?

I love the engraving test standard. wish there was something like that for the 3d printers. The torture test prints don't quite do it.

I will probably never have a laser engraver, but your reviews are so thorough and well done that they are enjoyable and informative to pleasure watch!
